Aqua Cruise offers fabulous and enchanting daily Alleppey, Kumarakom Backwater Cruise. The full day cruise includes homely food, accommodation and mesmerizing cruise and sight seeing through the beautiful backwaters of Kumarakom and Alleppey at an affordable rate. We offer both a/c and non a/c boats with full furnished bed rooms, toilets and kitchen. Our specialties are traditional Kerala food like rice and tapioca with locally grown organic vegetables, fish curry, Karimeen and prawn fry. When you are on houseboat you can do fishing and swim at certain places. Typical Kerala food and beverages are arranged in houseboat, you can’t stop licking your fingers after a delicious feast. You can also experience Kuttanadan food with coconut spirit (sweet toddy) from toddy shop on your sail. Both day cruise and night cruise through the lake is exciting one which never sweep from your memories.

Kerala Backwaters

Kerala's backwaters and lagoons stretch over 1900 km. Kerala lives along these backwaters. They snake over the state physique, bestowing paddy fields with good harvests, and provide the whole village with drinking water and other facilities. The backwaters refer to the large inland lakes of Kerala. Today these backwaters act as vital water ways for the transport of people and produce. Kerala backwaters are the most popular tourist attraction of Kerala. Backwaters are formed by the accumulation of sea water at the beach. As the waves moved to and fro, they made their way tearing the ground and forming backwaters. The backwaters are essentially inland lakes connected by a network of canals. The best way to enjoy the Kerala backwaters is to take a cruise on a Kettuvallam or the house boat. A kitchen.

1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom with A/c along with attached bathroom. Entertainment facilities like Television are also accessible. Hot water and Cold water bathing is also provided. A kitchen.

Itinerary

» Guests can check in at 12:00 hrs, we will welcome you with welcome drink and start cruise after a short briefing introduction, relax and enjoy the canals, rivers and backwater, at 13:00 hrs houseboat will stop for lunch, with lavish menu of traditional Kerala cuisine. (if your require any special meals like main food in north Indian or food without spice etc it has to be informed in advance).

» 14:00 hrs it will continue its cruise covering beautiful rivers and canals with palm trees and small houses near to it , villages paddy fields, churches, etc, you can also buy fresh prawns or crab or karimeen from local fishermen and give to our chef , who will prepare it for your dinner.

» 17:30 hrs The houseboat will anchor (till next day morning 08: 00) most of the time we will stop near the land because, you can also get a chance to go out and walk along the riverside or villages and come back, Evening Enjoy your Dinner and leave all world behind you and have a good sleep in your floating paradise.

» Bed tea / Coffee will be provided, enjoy the sunrise and breath polution free air. At 08:30 hrs Breakfast which includes bread, butter, jam together with Iddily & Dosa etc.

» 09.00 hrs is the time to check out and end of services in houseboat and leave houseboat with an ever lasting beautiful memory.

Terms & Conditions:

» Meal plan applied on APAI / full board basis (ie; inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner)

» The Menu is normally fixed. Any changes to be intimated in advance.

» Check in: 12 noon, Check out: 9 AM. One stay is for 21 hrs and not for 24 hrs.

» Beverages & any cook to order will be charged extra on actual.

» The boat will be anchored in the lake or canal during night & will not cruise after 17.30 hrs.

» Air conditioners in the bedroom will be switched on only from 9 PM to 6 AM

» Incase of A/C failure, Non A/C deluxe houseboat tariff will be charged.
